Rode into town about 3:40 a.m. so I could catch the Greyhound Bus to Sacramento. Took some pictures just as it was starting to get light, then hung out at Temple Coffee. Rode the bus out to The Bicycle Business. Ordered the Surly Long Haul Trucker. Should be ready in a couple weeks.
While waiting for the bus back to town started to rain pretty good. Had a chicken burrito while waiting. Rained all the way back to Modesto.
Short bike ride today - 5 miles. Total ride so far for this month = 300.2
another fan! I just got mine, olive green as well and it rides wonderfully.
ReplyDeleteHello Tim - Are you on any of the bicycle forums? What part of the world are you riding? I'll be doing several cherity rides soon, one in April (42miles), and another in May (100k). I'm looking forward to putting lots of miles on my new LHT. Still waiting for the shop to install all the equipment. Should be ready to ride in a couple weeks, or sooner!

ReplyDeleteI've put about 100 miles on mine so far, I estimate. longest ride so far = 38 miles to Coon Rapids Dam and back.
